Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is the daughter of an Russian Indian mother as well as an Afghan Hindu father. Mahendru is fluent with German Russian and English and is also fluent in French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru was born to an Indian father as well as a Russian mother. A choreographed performance at age 11, which appeared on German television, transformed her into the Russian dancer who was a snow maiden. Following her graduation from the requirements for high school at the age of 11 in New York, she received her bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. John's University. Following high school, she attended acting classes at HB but left for improv classes at Groundlings School. She then played a variety of roles in comedy. She was born to an Afghani Hindu-Indian mother and Russian father, who lived in Kabul, Afghanistan. Her father moved her to New York's East Meadow York at the age of thirteen and a half years old. She is a part of FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. TV actress known for playing former KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova, on FX's The Americans. Also, she played recurring characters in The Following, a Fox show The Following as well as NBC's The Blacklist.
